Post 1: My News Sources

.Twitter:https://twitter.com/home On twitter today there is a lot of media that can either help or hurt you when it comes to getting useful information. I enjoy using twitter for news and information because a lot of what is on twitter is raw. The best part about Twitter is that it opens up a platform for regular people to discuss things that affect them. I think it is very important to have discussions with, not only people who agree with your viewpoints, but also people that disagree. All in all, depending on how you use the app, Twitter can be very educational.

.Youtube /https://www.youtube.com/ Youtube is a great place to see lots of different types of media. From live streams of political rallies, clips of actual news shows, to videos of normal people voicing their opinions, Youtube is a great place to find any information you are looking for.

.CNN:https://www.cnn.com/ For written media CNN is the place I go to most often. I like to go to CNN because a lot of the stories they cover are stories that will impact me, and demographics that I care about. I think that CNN can be a very reliable source but I do have other sources that I can look at if I believe something they are reporting on is biased.

.Vicehttps://www.vice.com/en_us Vice is a news and entertainment source that I really like. Vice not only makes print media but also very good short documentaries that I love to watch. Vice is an edgy news source, and they cover stories that I do not believe I would hear about elsewhere. They also have a lot of creators who are around my age and a lot of their content is directed towards what I want to hear about and issues that I am passionate about.

.Salisbury Post:https://www.salisburypost.com/ The Salisbury Post is a news source that I have been using for years. This is my hometowns newspaper and I feel like it is good for me to read current events that are happening in my hometown. I think that a lot of the stories they put out are about issues that affect my family and friends that still live in Salisbury, so I make sure to keep informed about issues there.
